2CHR (2CHR) is the Community Radio station serving the Central Hunter district of NSW in Australia.

Specifically, the Licence Area includes the cities of Maitland and Cessnock and covers significant wine growing regions and tourism venues such as Pokolbin and Wollombi.

The station broadcasts on a frequency of 96.5 MHz on the FM band from Mt. Bimbadeen near Bellbird.

Our programme of music, interviews, news, weather and sports reports has a distinct focus on local interest. Community announcements and the promotion of local non-profit organisations are an important part of our goal.

The music programs vary as much as do our presenters' tastes - from pop, rock, MOR, punk, classical, folk, jazz and... oh yes!...  country!
